Not all plants which will grow in cool conditions prefer full light. Those which in their natural habitat would be found in a woodland situation are best accommodated in a north or west facing room. Included in the group are two shrubs, Hydrangea and Camellia which when they grow large can be planted outdoors.
Camellia
Camellia varieties make large shrubs when planted out-doors but because they flower when quite small – 12 inches or even less – they make useful pot plants. They prefer a semi-shade position and can be stood outdoors for the summer in a sheltered corner. They must never be allowed to dry out at the roots, so water regularly with lime-free water and liquid feed during the growing season. A minimum of 40 degrees F in winter is best, for though they are not permanently harmed by lower temperatures it may inhibit flowering. Re-pot every other year in a lime-free compost. Cuttings of semi-ripened non-flowering side shoots will root well if kept in a propagating case.
Dionaea muscipula Venus Fly Trap
The leaves are edged with stiff hairs so that as they close, any insect which lands on the surface is securely held. The unfortunate prisoner is then dissolved by chemicals exuded from the glands on the leaf and absorbed as food. A compost of peat and sphagnum moss is the mixture I used, and the pot is kept standing on a saucer filled with water. Propagate by division in spring when re-potting.
Hydrangea
A semi-shady, well ventilated, cool room from autumn to late spring then a sheltered place outdoors is ideal. Water heavily and feed every 10 days while they are growing, but keep on the dry side during the resting period. Cut back the old flower stems as the colour fades, and re-pot each year in a peat based compost to which has been added aluminium sulphate or a proprietory colourant if you want the flowers to be blue. Cuttings of young shoots can be rooted with fair success. Older plants which are growing in tubs or similar large containers need not be re-potted each year like the young plants. Instead, carefully remove the loose compost and top dress with a fresh mixture with extra fertilizer added. By thinning out the flowering shoots as they develop, those which are left produce much larger flowers.

News flash here! A wind chime or Aeolian chime is a set of suspended bells sounded when blown together by the wind-hence the name wind chimes. These bells are essentially made to be played by the wind and not by humans. They can be a source of entertainment since when the wind blows them, they do produce some sort of uncoordinated noise which essentially is music played by the wind. They are actually constructed by suspending them. They are suspended in such a way that when the wind blows, the chimes end up being tossed here and there. They may end up hitting each other and as such they do produce some noise. This is what now brings about the music. The chimes may be rods, tubes, bells or other objects that are made more often of metal or wood. The wind chimes are usually hung outside of a building, a residential place and can be used as a visual ornament.

Some of these infections have the ability to completely wipe out a whole lawn if not dealt with. Also it’s not ideal for a ground that is regularly used as it tends to bow under pressure and starts withering which leaves patches on the lawn. However the artificial type only requite some regular cleaning to ensure that it keeps pristine and does not get too discolored. It can take as much pressure as possible without getting broken and all one need to do incase they need to change it is simply replace it with another batch of commercially made grass.
