I am making Blueberry Streusel as I speak. The house smells yummy. My husband goes to work today at 3pm, so I always try to have a decent/nice breakfast for him on the afternoons when he works. The cat is looking at me through the screen door and my pup is at my feet. It is a beautiful day outside. Not a cloud in the sky. It has been gloomy and rainy in the deep south over the past few weeks. So, the nice weather is respite.
Being from Louisiana, I love all things Louisiana. My husband, not so much, but this blog isn’t about him, is it?? I didn’t think so. When I found out that Helen Mirren (one of my favorites) has a home in New Orleans, I was thrilled! Here are some shots from the inside. They can be found in Architectural Digest.
Light, Bright and Airy. It doesn’t look like an extremely wealthy couple lives here. They are very modest with their decor, and I like that!
Not sure if that is a pillow on the bed or not. It may be another Mardi Gras mask.
